Shadow
Shadow is one of two that would let us do anything to her, but then shadow got bigger because she was pregnant and that ment she was going to get a little more grumpy (shadow is mom to jojo alreay) .We found a definite signal of grumpiness, when Tucker came she was NOT happy at all. She would kick and scream at him I think partly she was protecting her babies, even though she may get alittle grumpy I love her.

This morning shadow had a baby ,the baby could not get out of his sack and died it was the worst thing ever for us and we were waiting for months. My grandma says that it looked like a spoted horse (applosa) that was with diffrent colors of spots ,curly mane and it was a little baby boy .Everyone has been a mess since we heard about it .Shadow has been wanting her baby since they took it to buried . We feel terrible about ths and hope we can another some day. We have been looking at other minis for breeding because she never got her other baby.
we have good news that we will breed shadow this spring .he is from the place we got the horses from .he is beautiful.
Hi there, you probably know about shadow and sparty and now sparty has left. Now shadow looks bigger, we are saving our money now for any treatmeant the foal may need. Now she was bred in august and september and we have no way to tell if she is pregnant. If you know a way please leave a comment telling that you do. Anyways, we don’t want to re-live last year again so we are prepared to care for shadow, we have parked the camper in the pasture so that we can get to her fast if needed. We won’t start camping out until this summer , because she will not be do until the summer. Please include us in your prayers, Thanks!
Hey Everyone sorry I have not been in touch but we have some great news,as you might already know shadow’s previous baby did not live, but last summer we had a stallion come and attempt to breed her, it would have if shadow didn’t hate him so much! We thought there was not chance of her being pregnant until we took a good look at her this week, we noticed that she is much fatter then her 3 year old daughter, JOJO, and she is filling out in places she wouldn’t if she were’t pregnant, she’s very protective of her tummy and we think we can feel the foal’s movement. We are not sure but if anyone knows a for sure way to know with out haveing an ultra sound it would great! Ultra sounds are just to expensive for us and we are saving our money for something else!
