There is also one full sized horse that lives with the mini’s, his name is Tucker. Tucker was rescued from an owner due to neglect. He was very skinny, and does have a problem with his front legs that prevents him from walking well.

The family that first bred the minis, bred them with smaller spanish horses in Argentina. It sometimes seems as though they have very large heads that is bigger that you think it would be. Minis are VERY social animals.
I f you do not handle them often you will find hesitation, fleeing, and nipping. If you hesitate when this happen they will think that they are in charge and that you are defenseless and they they can do what they want to you. YOU NEED TO BE THE BOSS!!!!
